Shadows of Brimstone kickstarter

Just in case anyone hasn't seen this already, it appears to be an unholy cross between Deadlands and Mansions of Madness (the FFG board game).

It looks interesting, and appears to have done very well on Kickstarter so far. Of interest to the staff and students of MU, are the mini figs (some of which have an oddly familiar feel to them), and the various references to other dimensions, horrors beyond space and time, and the almost excessive use of tentacles...

If anything worries me, it's the cost. Which is a shame.

I struggle with Kickstarter for this reason. I am a completest by nature and a compulsive buyer so knowing that there's no way on earth I could hope to buy all the stuff associated with this puts me off. I love Flying Frog games and I love the sound of this but there's just no way I'm selling a kidney to afford all this!

I think there is something very Lovecraftian about organ-harvesting. Maybe they can insert a Deep One kidney as a replacement? Hmmm... There's an idea for a scenario...
In the morning, mist comes up from the sea by the cliffs beyond Kingsport. White and feathery it comes from the deep to its brothers the clouds, full of dreams of dank pastures and caves of leviathan.
