Welp, we touched on it a little in last night's recording. Not a full show treatment, but a mention of issues raised here along with a correction of how badly we botched or neglected CoC san mechanics. For the record, random temp insanity consequences have always been optional in CoC, with advice to pick something germane to the situation as the primary case.

Tell you what: other than identifying inconsistencies in the listed san losses, where might this topic go for a deeper dive? We basically concluded that yes, some monster san losses seem incongruous, so Keepers should always pay attention to them and adjust for what makes sense to you in your game.

What other angles might be good to explore?
