Should we pull the non Cthulhu Gaming Kickstarters out of the Crier to give them their own mini-cast? I'm thinking of doing it on roughly weekly basis depending on any relevant Kickstarters that are active at the moment.
I would include things that are Lovecraft related, as well as roleplaying game projects like the current one from Obsidian Portal.

I think if the projects are gaming/horror/Lovecraft related they seem perfectly suited to the podcast, and it sheds light on things that listeners might otherwise miss.
If related, or even just of relevant interest, keep them in. I don't mind longer episodes.

My main concern was that there are usually 3 to 5 others I don't include to keep the Crier from being "The Kickstarter Show" and to get to the main content in a reasonable time.

Well, when you put it like that, seperate kickstarter mini-episodes sounds like a good idea.Keeper Dan wrote:My main concern was that there are usually 3 to 5 others I don't include to keep the Crier from being "The Kickstarter Show" and to get to the main content in a reasonable time.
In the morning, mist comes up from the sea by the cliffs beyond Kingsport. White and feathery it comes from the deep to its brothers the clouds, full of dreams of dank pastures and caves of leviathan.

The more content the better. If you are trimming the Crier, then give us the trimmings separately.

I'd just worry that the overhead of two separate podcasts will lead to...well, you know. What happened to that other podcast.

Ah, but that other podcast did not have MUP's secret weapon: Cheapskate Fu!Gladius wrote:I'd just worry that the overhead of two separate podcasts will lead to...well, you know. What happened to that other podcast.

What I'm looking at is a same-day record & release with next to no editing. Just removing long pauses while I look up info or add in the opening or closing bumpers. Any more than that and I wouldn't even attempt it.
